Request: A Beginner's Guide to GW2 Professions. I am a relatively new player and I am currently wondering what the situation/meta each profession is currently in. I read that the warrior is the best starter so that is the class I have been playing. However I am trying to decide on a new profession and I am having some trouble choosing.

Reaper is better and easier to play for a beginner imo. Reaper Shroud gives you a second life bar, and I overall find them to be just a little more tanky and bursty than scourge. Scourge still works fairly well though, and if you like the looks of it more, it's still very playable as a beginner. 12. tomaz1989.

Don't stress about gear you'll get a lot along the way. Weapons change your 1-5 skills, Healing is 6, 7-9 is Utility and 10 is Elite. You unlock the skills for 6-10 from hero points scattered around the world and train them in the hero panel.
