Farah is the name of the Prince's donkey in Prince of Persia. The donkey carried a king's ransom in gold on its back but the Prince lost her in the sandstorm at the beginning of the game. Elika initially assumed that Farah was the Prince's lover when he mentioned her. "Farah" is a reference to The Sands of Time character of the same name.
